Community bank partners with regional nonprofit and aims to raise donations and awareness

The publication acknowledges 150 companies in the Washington D.C.-Metro area receiving the highest overall ratings in an employee satisfaction survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics. FVCbank ranked 75th in the small business category.
The Washington Post’s second annual competition generated over 2,000 entries, recognizing the top 150 businesses in various size categories. This year, over 50,200 employees of regional businesses contributed to the survey, which named the top ranking businesses in three categories – small (50-149 employees), medium (150-499 employees) and large (500+ employees).
Since opening its doors in 2007, FVCbank serves small and mid-sized businesses and personal banking needs of clients in the Virginia and surrounding Washington D.C. areas. The bank has seen strong growth and solid performance, ending 2014 with its strongest financial performance in its seven-year history. The bank continued positive momentum, announcing its 21st consecutive profitable quarter with the release of its first quarter earnings in April 2014.
