FVCbank is Changing its Online Banking Platform for Retail Customers, providing an enhanced customer experience.
Online Banking- System Upgrade
To accommodate the change, FVCbank’s current Online Banking Service will be disabled at 5:00 p.m. EST., Friday, September 6, 2024. The current Online Banking System will automatically be converted to FVCbank’s new Online Banking platform. Please Note: Our online services will not be available during this period. Read Important information below for each service cutoff time and first-time login instructions.
Login Credentials
User ID and Password – Your User ID should not change. It will be your current User ID. For security, the new platform will prompt you to enter a Secure Access Code at login and be sent to a phone number we currently have on file. You will be prompted to change your password at your first login. The password requirements will be – 8 -15 characters, 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter, a number and a special character.
Bill Payments
Bill Pay Service – On Friday, September 6, 2024, our bill pay service will cut-off at 4:00 p.m. EST. It will become available for use again on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. EST. All bill pay payees should convert to the new platform. If you have scheduled bill pay transactions, the bill pay transactions will remain on the same schedule you have in place. We recommend creating a bill pay history report – please see the instructions to save your bill pay history.
QuickBooks/Quicken – Please make sure your QuickBooks/Quicken downloads are complete and up to date. This includes downloading all activity before 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, September 6, 2024. If you have QuickBooks set up to download transactions from online banking, you will need to deactivate your current access in QuickBooks and then reactivate in QuickBooks with the new platform.
Scheduled Transactions – Current scheduled recurring transactions will be converted to the new Online Banking System. Please make sure you have a copy of your current schedules for internal transfers and loan payments. You will need this information to verify each scheduled transfer in the new Online Banking System.
New Mobile App – you will need to delete your current mobile app and install the new mobile app by going to the App store or Google Play Store and search for FVCbank Mobile. If you are currently using our business mobile app, you will use the same app.
Zelle – On Friday, September 6, 2024, our Zelle service will cut-off at 4:00 p.m. EST. It will become available for use again on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. EST
Online Alerts – we will have mandatory security alerts turned on for every user. In addition, you will have the option of setting up additional security alerts and alerts for account balances, account history, online transaction and an event reminder.
