FVCbank announces strong growth in both deposits and loans for the year ending 2008, the bank’s first full year of operation.

David W. Pijor, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, announced Gary R. English and Christine M. Rowe have joined the Bank and will lead the Bank’s efforts in Prince William County, Virginia. Mr. English will be Senior Vice President and Regional Executive Officer, and Ms. Rowe will be Vice President – Business Development and Commercial Lending Officer. Mr. Pijor said, “We’re delighted to have Mr. English and Ms. Rowe join our new Bank. I had the opportunity to work with them at James Monroe Bank and they have consistently set the standards for outstanding bankers in their markets. In their new positions, they will drive the business development efforts in Prince William County.”
Mr. English has been a community banker in Prince William County for nearly 30 years. Mr. English had served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Independent Bank in Manassas and has held other senior bank management positions in Prince William County. Ms. Rowe, a community banker for over 30 years, has been a long time resident of the Manassas area and has extensive ties to the retail and business communities.
