Chairman and CEO David W. Pijor to Assume Position in March

FVCbank (FVCbank), one of the fastest-growing companies in Virginia, has hired Douglas McAlpine as its Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending.
In this role, McAlpine will be responsible for helping the bank grow its commercial lending portfolio, by utilizing his years of experience and expansive contact list.

McAlpine has more than 30 years of experience in banking, including originating, analyzing, underwriting and managing construction and permanent loans to develop residential and commercial projects.
Doug was formerly with The Business Bank, Fulton Bank and SunTrust Bank where he served as a Senior Vice President of Real Estate Finance. At Fulton Bank he was recognized as a top performer for their Southern Division based on loan portfolio growth, loan fees originated and deposit growth.
Doug graduated from Benjamin Franklin University with a major in Accounting and Finance. He also graduated from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Income Property Case Study School at Michigan State University and the Advanced Income Property School at the University of Georgia.
