Fairfax-based bank recognized among fastest-growing businesses in Virginia
FVCbank (FVCbank) today was named one of Virginia’s Fantastic 50 by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce at the 18th annual 2013 Fantastic 50 Awards Banquet. The award recognizes FVCbank as one of Virginia’s 50 fastest-growing businesses in the state. FVCbank is the only organization in the banking industry to receive this award in 2013.
“FVCbank is honored to be recognized as one of Virginia’s 50-fastest growing businesses,” said David W. Pijor, FVCbank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
“Our company is committed to Virginia and helping people achieve their financial dreams, whether it is to start up a business, plan for college or save for retirement. FVCbank’s growth positions us to better serve our customers and help our community thrive.”
Rankings for the Fantastic 50 award are based on sales and revenue over a four year period. During 2012, FVCbank’s total loans grew to 331.1 million, which reflects a compounded annual growth rate of 45.5 percent. FVCbank also completed its first acquisition, 1st Commonwealth Bank of Virginia, in 2012, expanding their footprint into Arlington, Virginia.
Members of the FVCbank leadership team attended the banquet alongside nearly 500 attendees and other Fantastic 50 winners.
